About RebelSnatch

Use the official waitlist first

Many Ole Miss sections have an official waitlist in Experience. If a seat opens, the next student on it is emailed and the seat is held for them. If a section has an open waitlist, join it. RebelSnatch links you there.

Seat alerts, for when the waitlist can't help

For sections with no waitlist, and after waitlists close the week before classes (add/drop), RebelSnatch checks seat counts every few minutes and emails you the CRN when a full section opens. Alerts go out in the order people subscribed (three per open seat).

Trades

Tell us which section you're in and which ones you'd switch to. When another student is in a section you want and wants yours, we email you both so you can swap: agree on a time, then both drop and add at the same moment. If a section has students on its official waitlist, a dropped seat goes to them first, so swaps work best when that waitlist is empty or closed.

Does it register me?

No. RebelSnatch never logs in to Experience or Banner and never asks for your password. You register yourself in Experience.

What do you store?

Your Ole Miss email, the sections you're watching, and (if you use Trades) the section you're in and the ones you'd trade for. Your email is only shown to a student you've matched with.
